WABCO receives two Technical Innovation Awards from FOTON group

• WABCO has received two Technical Innovation Awards from Foton Group and OV Bus (division of FOTON group) for its performance in supporting two new key development projects.
• WABCO was honored for:
  • it’s full and very fast support to FOTON’s development projects for hybrid buses by fulfilling special customer requirements
  • the improvement of current vehicle platforms.
• The award was presented to Mr.Peng Yunshu, Customer Relationship Manager for FOTON (third person from right side), at the FOTON 2010 Supplier Conference in December 2009 in Beijing.

• WABCO-TVS won the manufacturing excellence Gold award for 2009 by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), the nodal agency for the Indian Auto Component Industry
• WABCO-TVS (India) Limited is one of the leading manufacturers of air and air assisted brake system for commercial vehicles
• WTIL has deployed across the organization most of best practices like Cell Layout, KANBAN, FIFO, JIT... and has won many prestigious awards: Deming Award, Japan Quality Medal and TPM Excellence Award
• The award was received by Mr P Kaniappan, Whole-time Director and Mr Rajesh Chandra Sahoo, Value Stream Manager (VDC)

WABCO receives top score "A" from KMB

• WABCO APAC and Hong-Kong Trailer & Aftermarket team received a top score “A” from one of its key fleet customer - the Kowloon Motor Bus Company (KMB)
• WABCO received glowing ratings in the following areas:
  • Technical / Quality discrepancy
  • Operational / Quality discrepancy and receipt performance
• This important achievement is the result of cooperation with sales, sales desk, logistics and technical support
• The score was granted during KMB’s annual appraisal of over 1000 of its vendors
