WABCO's introduction of its Electronically Controlled Air Suspension system (ECAS) has been a major driver behind the adoption by commercial vehicle industry of the electronically controlled chassis. Today, WABCO has further developed its ECAS system by integrating an electronic shock absorber control system which allows the ECAS to use available information from existing sensors to improve the functionality of the chassis’ air suspension system.
