Roll Stability Control (RSC) is an active vehicle safety system for commercial vehicles which extends WABCO ABS. It intervenes automatically if a high rollover risk is detected while driving. This is an important contribution to commercial vehicle safety in growing traffic density and related road hazards.
Within physical limits, RSC operates automatically and intervenes in both the drive train and the brake to support the truck or bus driver, who might not otherwise be able to safely steer or brake his vehicle.
Features
Mitigates roll-over by reducing speed at too high lateral acceleration
Improved directional stability
Automatic intervention in situations where vehicle stability enters a critical area
