Traction Help is installed in the T-EBS-E system. With WABCO's Traction Help, you can quickly get a grip on the situation!
What does it do?
Increases the grip of the truck’s driving axle on the road surface when starting to drive
How does it work?
By temporarily increasing the weight on the driving axle of the pulling vehicle, the grip on the road improves.
The truck driver activates Traction Help on the Trailer Remote Control with a switch on the cabin’s dashboard or on the SmartBoard
The first trailer-axle is lifted, putting more weight on the truck’s driving axle
At speeds exceeding 30 km/h, the trailer axle will lower itself to its normal driving position
