As part of WABCO's Zero Accident Program, TASC will improve trailer and load safety while driving, manoeuvring, loading or unloading, by providing advanced Lift-and-Lower and Return-to-Ride functions.
With intuitive operation by only turning the handle and with the direct connection to leveling valves with height limitation, TASC is providing new features to operator and trailer builder
For easy mounting, TASC will be available in different variants, including integrated fittings, test connection and deadman control.
Three problems, one solution: TASC.
Imagine
Your trailer chassis is raised for loading, and not returned to the driving level
The trailer is unable to pass under a bridge.
Trailer chassis is lowered for loading
Driving away with too low chassis height, might cause cargo and trailer damage.
Trailer frame is lowered down to the buffer when driving off loaded
The braking system cannot detect the cargo load, and might not brake hard enough in critical situations
The solution
RETURN-TO-RIDE brings your trailer chassis back to the normal driving level, as soon as you start driving.
Features
AUTOMATIC RETURN-TO-RIDE After loading or unloading, the Return-to-Ride function will adjust the trailer chassis to the safe driving level as soon as the vehicle starts driving.
ROTATE TO OPERATE TASC is the only Return-to-Ride valve in the market that is operated by simply turning the handle left or right.
Benefits
LOCK IN LOW POSITION The handle can be locked in a position that brings the trailer to its lowest level, and keeps it there.
This function is mandatory for transporting the trailer on trains or ships, as it maximizes the trailers’ stability.
It also allows drivers to do other activities while the chassis is lowering.
COMFORT Stay warm and dry in the truck cabin on a cold or rainy day: Return-to-Ride will increase your comfort.
EASY HEIGHT LIMITATION TASC is the only Return-to-Ride valve in the market that is designed to be directly connected to a levelling valve with height limitation, without additional components
CONNECT TO ALL BRAKE SYSTEMS The TASC DIN bayonet allows connecting to all brake systems with electrical impulse signal.
Application
andCIRCUITS The 2-circuit variant is the fastest variant to lift or lower the trailer chassis, and provides the best stability while driving.
INTEGRATED FITTINGS The variant with pre-integrated fittings eliminates manual assembly time and air leakage tests, reduces installation time on the trailer
DEADMAN CONTROL The Deadman Control variant does not allow locking the handle in “Lower & Lock” position. When released during lowering, the handle will fall immediately into ‘Hold Low’ position.
TEST CONNECTION The variant with integrated test port eliminates the separate mounting of a test connection on the bracket next to the valve.
