Prevents trailers from physical bouncing as brakes are released after the cargo has been unloaded
Bounce Control gently releases the hidden forces between the trailer chassis and the braked tires after loading or unloading, to avoid the trailer from bouncing when the brakes are released.
Typically, drivers apply the parking brakes on a trailer while loading or unloading. Due to the change in cargo weight on the trailer while the brakes are applied hidden forces are built up between the chassis and the tires, which can cause bouncing of the trailer when the brakes are released again. This can cause damage to the trailer, the cargo and/or loading ramp or roof.
With the SmartBoard control box, Bounce Control can be activated in order to gently release those hidden forces after loading or unloading, preventing damage or injury caused by the trailer bouncing when the brakes are released.
