WABCO’s PAN range of air disc brakes has a long and successful history in the commercial vehicles sector. The compact design, developed using leading-edge finite element analysis, uses patented single-piston technology to hit class-leading weight reduction targets. Reliability is supported by an encapsulated guiding system with stable metal caps as well as redundant sealing systems with pin guidance and an adjuster device.
This results in a significant weight reduction for all types of commercial vehicles and excellent road performance reflected in high customer satisfaction figures.
