WABCO transmission automation systems are available in different configurations for light, medium and heavy duty vehicles. The transmission automation system transforms a manual transmission into an automated transmission, that shifts gears according to driver demand.
In the manual mode the ECU will receive the driver demand through a gear lever unit and perform the shifting operation accordingly.
In the automatic mode the system will shift automatically based on the throttle position and vehicle operating condition without any additional driver input.
WABCO offers more than 20 years experience on transmission automation systems.
