Gerd Körber Celebrates Two Podium Positions at the European Truck Race Championship Weekend in Nogaro, France

Hans-Joachim Stuck, German Car Racing Legend and Double Champion of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, starts as guest driver with WABCO-sponsored Team Allgäuer

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – 25 JUNE 2007 – Gerd Körber again scored important points for the drivers and the team championship for WABCO-sponsored Truck Race Team Allgäuer when he ranked second and third in the two Saturday races at the Circuit Paul Armangnac in Nogaro, France. In the Sunday races, Gerd Körber finished fifth and fourth, outpacing team captain Egon Allgäuer who crossed the finishing line directly behind him on sixth and fifth position.

In Nogaro, German car racing legend Hans-Joachim Stuck started into the season on a Team Allgäuer race truck, finishing all races among the top ten. Stuck will also start at the truck races in Misano, Italy, in September and is keen to improve his rankings.

WABCO sponsored Team Allgäuer’s top drivers Körber and Allgäuer now rank fourth and sixth respectively in the FIA driver championship and Team Allgäuer retains second position in the Team Championship.

The next European Truck Racing Championship event will take place at Nürburgring, Germany, from July 6-8.
