BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – 13 JUNE 2007 – Ranking third in last Sunday’s cup race, Gerd Körber finished the European Truck Racing Championship weekend in Albacete, Spain, with a success for WABCO-sponsored Truck Race Team Allgäuer.

The cup race got off to a difficult start as Körber and Team Captain Egon Allgäuer, who started in the second and third rows, ended up off the track thereby losing precious race time and positions. Körber then started to catch up position after position and finished the race ranking third to celebrate his fourth podium position this season. Allgäuer finished seventh in the final race of the weekend. WABCO sponsored Team Allgäuer’s top drivers Körber and Allgäuer now rank fifth and sixth in the FIA driver championship and Team Allgäuer holds the second position in the team championship.
