WABCO Awarded Supplier of the Year by Automotive Distribution Federation (UK)

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM/BIRMINGHAM, UK – 19 DECEMBER 2006 – The Automotive Distribution Federation (ADF) honoured WABCO as “Commercial Vehicle Supplier of the Year 2006-2007” with its prestigious Excellence Award. ADF is the largest organisation of parts distributors and suppliers in the UK aftermarket.

Alan Seal, president of the ADF, presented the award to WABCO during the recent ADF Annual Dinner & Awards night in Birmingham. He said: “WABCO is a completely professional company, whose service amply supports its OE quality products”.

“The ADF Excellence Award is a great honour for us. We take it as a welcome recognition of the hard work our teams in the UK and worldwide deliver every day to offer the highest possible service and product quality to WABCO’s customers”, said UK Aftermarket Manager Chris Chapman, who accepted the award on behalf of WABCO.

WABCO had been nominated and short listed by the ADF earlier in 2006. The decision to choose WABCO as “Commercial Vehicle Supplier of the Year 2006-2007” followed intensive tests of the service quality provided by WABCO’s distributors, sales desks and technical desks. The testing was conducted through “mystery shoppers”.

“This is a welcome recognition of the WABCO UK Aftermarket team for the dedication and passion they show every day”, said Jean-Francois Barth, WABCO vice president Aftermarket. “This award is very encouraging to us, and it reinforces our strong commitment to continually improve the way we partner with our customers – not only in sales and aftermarket service, but across our organization.”
