BRUSSELS, Belgium / HANOVER, Germany – September 23, 2008 – WABCO Holdings Inc. (NYSE: WBC), a global technology leader and tier-one supplier to the commercial vehicle industry, today will introduce OnGuardMax™ at the IAA 2008 trade show, as the company spotlights its breakthrough technology to assist drivers of heavy duty trucks. WABCO’s OnGuardMax is the industry’s first system for autonomous emergency braking (AEB) in collision imminent situations with moving or stopped vehicles.

Also at IAA 2008, as previously announced, WABCO will present its new trailer telematics technology that increases operating efficiency for transport businesses. WABCO will also launch its new modular automated manual transmission (AMT) system that enables vehicle and transmission manufacturers to accelerate product application and time to market.
WABCO will showcase a suite of new technology and product innovations at IAA 2008 for vehicle electronic architecture, dynamics and stability control; compression and braking; driveline controls; trailer systems, and aftermarket. WABCO systems and services help improve performance, safety, efficiency and service life of commercial vehicles while reducing overall vehicle operating costs.

WABCO CEO Jacques Esculier will host a press conference on September 23 from 13:00 to 13:30 in the Conference Center.
CEO keynote and live demonstration of WABCO’s OnGuardMax system
At IAA’s “Hazardous Goods Day” symposium on September 26, WABCO CEO Jacques Esculier will highlight industry developments in driver assistance systems in the Convention Center from 12:00 to 12:30.
Following this keynote speech, a truck equipped with WABCO’s new OnGuardMax system will perform emergency braking during a live demonstration from 13:30 to 14:00 outside the Convention Center.
