WABCO Sponsored Team Allgäuer Ends the 2007 European Truck Racing Season with 2nd Position in the Team Championship

Gerd Körber ranked 2nd in 2nd cup race at Circuito del Jarama in Spain

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – 09 OCTOBER 2007 – The final racing weekend of the 2007 European Truck Racing Championship in Jarama, Spain, again saw Gerd Körber stepping up to the podium, finishing second in the second cup race and third in the preceding qualification race.

Thanks to the good results of Truck Race Team Allgäuer during the nine racing weekends of the 2007 season, the team finished second in the team championship. Team Allgäuer drivers Gerd Körber and Egon Allgäuer rank fifth and sixth respectively in the FIA driver championship.

“We are very satisfied with the second position in the team championship,” said Team Allgäuer captain Egon Allgäuer. “We thank WABCO for its dedicated support throughout the season. The company’s extremely reliable braking systems contributed a great deal to our success.”
