The uniqueness of the New Generation of WABCO is clearly visible: the new monobloc brake caliper with pad off-set.
The Air Disc Brake New Generation NG22plus features the WABCO patented single-piston technology of the PAN range and offers the safety of an established technology. With an impressively low weight of only 37kg including pads this new brake generation is the ideal solution for all truck and bus applications of the heavy class segment. and makes it the currently lightest brake in the heavy class. This protects the chassis and reduces the fuel consumption, substantially enhancing transportation effectiveness and road safety. By using a continuous wear sensor (CWS), which WABCO offers with this brake, service costs are reduced even further. This sensor can be exchanged without any additional set-up work.
