Air Disc Brake New Generation NG22plus

The NG22plus of the New Generation of WABCO Air Disc Brakes comes with a new monobloc brake caliper, a new pad concept and a reinforced single-piston clamping unit. This light weight brake was especially designed for the heavy class of commercial vehicles as well as for trailers.

NG22plus also features the WABCO patented single-piston technology of the PAN range and offers the safety of an established technology.

With an  impressively low weight of only 37kg including pads, the NG22plus is one of the lightest brakes currently available in the heavy class truck market. This protects the chassis and reduces the fuel consumption, substantially enhancing transportation effectiveness and road safety. By using a continuous wear sensor (CWS), which WABCO offers with this brake, service costs can be reduced even further. This sensor can be exchanged without disassembly of the brake and any additional set-up work. It measures the wear of both pads and the disc continuously.
