WABCO XD Language Support

Problem:
No vehicles shown in XD Advanced/Premium packages.

In language versions of WABCO Expert Diagnostics Smart Module like Russian, Polish, Czech, Croatian, Greek, and Turkish the Smart Viewer starts and communication with Smart Module seems to be OK (green LED blinking and animated icon of right connection is shown) but no selection of vehicles is possible. This is due to an uncorrect automated update or improper installation of JAVA RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT (JRE) on some computers.

Solution:

1. Remove previous installed versions of JRE by using the Control Panel

2. Run http://www.wabco.info/xd/software/4.12/jre-1_5_0_02-windows-i586-p.exe and select Custom setup type.

3. Please change the default settings (see small "1" on two folders) and choose FULL INSTALLATION in these three options:

5. It is recommended to reboot the devices (both, Windows and Smart Module)
