Q: My new laptop does not have a serial RS232 port for linking the interface.
A: You can also use the USB port. For this purpose, a USB modem adapter, which can be bought from a computer accessories store, is required. The USB adapater emulates a COM port. Which COM port is emulated depends on your system and the adapter settings.
Q: I can see diagnostics files in my temp and download directory.
A: The files are only required for installing the programs and copying them to disk and can be subsequently deleted manually.
Q: A message appears while installing VCS: Object Windows - Exception window execution failure untitled, 0 , VCS Inbe Continue? Yes No
A: Windows cannot link to a needed library (BWCC32.DLL), Solution: Install Patch.
