That’s not our style. We’ll never tell you how to run your business, even though we come from the same industry. But we will share insights and knowledge based on experience we’ve gained as a strategic player in the commercial vehicles market since its very beginnings nearly a century ago.
The “Un-Consultants”
Unlike traditional consultants, we have actual operational experience and a detailed knowledge of the commercial vehicles industry. So we approach consulting from a completely different direction. We offer pragmatic advice rather than grand theories, and we get actively involved as a co-creative partner rather than as an arms-length advisor.
How We Work
WABCO University can partner with you in the areas of business process improvement and personnel development to help you optimize your overall business productivity. We typically begin by conducting an audit of your training needs and then design and implement a tailor-made solution.
The programs described below can be attended by individuals or small groups at open sessions, or tailored to your specific needs and delivered at our training facilities or at your preferred location.
Six Sigma Education Program
This program enables participants to learn, understand and apply the basic approaches and necessary tools of Six Sigma. The second level of the program leads to the industry-recognized certification of Six Sigma Green Belt.
Participants work on real business challenges and projects as part of their training. On-site consultancy days are included in the training and WABCO University trainers provide individual guidance and help in defining, chartering, driving and completing these projects. You’ll achieve tangible results and experience both personal and business success.
Team Management System (TMS)
The TMS approach, focused on business results, accelerates the development of effective teamwork. You’ll gain a better understanding of roles and effective communication within teams, and learn a model and language for effective team work. You’ll also learn how to manage conflict and use diversity in teams for maximum advantage. TMS will help you both to put the right teams in place and to get teams to work together smoothly. The end result: high performance.
